This year, for the first time, RTL 5 will broadcast live coverage to over 6.7 million terrestrial viewers in Holland whilst Sport 1 (a Hungarian based channel) will also broadcast live from Cardiff to over 1.3 million households across eastern Europe.

18 hours delayed coverage is taken by the following channels:

Sky Sports is the UK's premier dedicated sports channel and their commitment to 9-ball Pool is shown again in 2003 with live coverage of each day of the World Pool Championship.

Fronted by Dave Clark (pictured right), a www.worldpoolchampionship.com guest columnist, and with expert summary from six-times world snooker champion Steve Davis amongst others, Sky Sports' coverage is once again setting the pace for others to follow.

With fifteen cameras covering the TV Table, including overhead and pocket cameras, viewers at home are offered table-side seats to the action.

And with commentators such as the legendary Sid Waddell, knowledgeable Canadian Jim Wych and top US pundit Jerry Forsyth, the action will really come alive from the comfort of an armchair!
